Laughing Dogs

Often it was funny as a child when a teacher would ask “Where’s your homework” and as students we would reply a response we saw on a popular evening cartoon show called “The Simpsons”
We would say “My dog ate my homework” Sure it was funny and the class would laugh together in rebellion but at the end of day nothing was nothing funny about a FAT Zero as a grade.
Why am I talking about this? Because sometimes our environments encourages us to be rebellious in our assignments. Sure it’s funny for a while and your feel accepted in the crowd of jokes. But the time comes where everything you experienced is test and you would have thrown away all your training and traded your preparation to laugh with dogs.
Look to your neighbor and say
“I’m not taking this class again”
Lesson Reference:
1  Samuel 15:21-23
21“But the people took some of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the choicest of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the LORD your God at Gilgal.” 22Samuelsaid, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offeringsand sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD?Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heedthan the fat of rams. 23“For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He has also rejected you from being king.”
